There is something about the arrangement, the subtle harmonies and the gentle throb of deep male voices that makes male singing my favourite format. I was introduced to male choirs at the age of twelve. Over the years I’ve sung in other groups, quartets etc, and have enjoyed every minute. In 2012 I joined the re organized male group under the leadership of Robert. At first we practiced at Parramatta Seventh-day Adventist Church and largely the group members were also members of that local Church. We were associated by default as a church choir. Our group has also bonded together as a supporting bunch. Prayer is our major component for success. We uplift each other, pray with and for each other, cry, laugh and tease each other. Strong friendships have had their beginnings here. This group of men blesses each other. Our group leader Robert and pianist Liz push us hard in practice to strive for musical excellence. Whether we achieve this goal or not, my happiness comes from the satisfaction that I tried my best to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”
